Uma Nota Culture and Nomada Project are thrilled to present the incredible Indus!

Coming all the way from Colombia to share in a special night of music.

Indus is a folk - electronic duo, formed by Caribbean coast born Oscar Alford and Andres Mercado aka Doc Keyta. Their unique sound portrays afro-colombian rhythms in a nocturne and acid ambience, their live show is an energetic discharge of acid synthesizers and afro-percussion, an invitation to dance and travel through the reinterpretations of ancient Colombian sounds.

Oscar, in charge of the production and electronic side of the band, has worked with internationally renowned Colombian artists like Sidestepper, John montoya, Ghetto Kumb, Nidia Gongora, Nelda Piña, and the gaitero Paito, amongst others. Andres is a percussionist currently also drummer for the band Ghetto Kumbe.

Toronto-based legend Rami Nassif and Nomada Project founder Win will be rounding out the night with some beautiful beats.
