On the "Day of the Creole Song" in Perú, we commemorate, with music, dance and food, the long cultural merging of three cultures. The encounter of European, African, and Native traditions on the coast of our corner of South America gave the ingredients for the mixture that is our heritage.

Matias Recharte y Conjunto Criollo with special guests from Toronto's finest Peruvian vocalists performing; Vals, Maninera, Polka, Festejos, Tondero, Lando and Zamacueca!and Ritmo’s very own Dj Yana Runa will drop all that is Canciones Criolla!

Come celebrate this day with Peruvian waltzes, polkas, afro and other rhythms born of the fusion of traditions from three continents.
